Summer Vacation
We had a nice visit with Ryan's family. Isabel loved meeting her cousin Ava, she called her my girl. They had fun prancing around in their princess dresses. And Liza got her fair share of attention. Aunt Joan had her belly laughing one night and grandma Bear almost didn't give her back to us when it was time to leave. The girls miss all of the attention already.

Keeping busy
I have been trying to keep Isabel busy this past week. She goes from 0-100 and doesn't stop all day long. We had painters here for 3 days last week so we were stuck at home. When we did finally escape the house we had to find somewhere cool to hang out so we spent the day at the mall. Isabel did Build-a-Bear and gave her bear her favorite name of Sarah. She sleeps with her every night now. She loved the playground and the carousel too.

Yum, Yum
Since Liza seems to eat all day long we broke out the high chair and rice cereal this week. She was so excited, kicking her little feet and cooing. Then she got a taste of the grub and decided it wasn't so spectacular. Isabel thought the whole thing was hilarious, especially how the food kept falling out of Liza's mouth. Not too much cereal actually made it down the hatch.
So excited
wait a minute, where's the beef?

Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire
Isabel loves to go swimming at night so the other night she comes running inside and asks if she can go swimming under the stars with Ryan. (Dad told me to ask you.) Well Isabel goes outside with her swimsuit on and tells Ryan that mom said to pick out a swimsuit and go swimming but I would stay in the house. Turns out what I actually had said was not tonight, its your bedtime. Funny how that message got jumbled.

Yardwork
A little drama.....
Our week started out with just a little drama. Ryan was at work and the girls and I were taking it easy, hanging out in our PJ's and getting a late start to the day. All of a sudden I felt terrible pain. After what seemed like forever I got a hold of Ryan and he took me to the ER. Turns out I had a kidney stone, it was worse pain than childbirth. But somehow on that ride to the hospital I still managed to be a backseat driver. So we didn't end up doing too much this week.
