We are having a very busy winter break down here. The girls are enjoying the visit from grandma and grandpa and of course they were very happy with Santa's visit. Isabel is delighted to have some time off of school and so am I.
Isabel brought this love note home from school today. Apparently Jarno has a little crush on her so he composed this note. I guess he's hoping the feeling is mutual.
Well here are some pictures of something we are only seeing for the 34th time since 1890. SNOW!!!! The kids had a blast at school, playing in the snow with their teachers and principals. We even got out early. Isabel and Liza aren't too impressed by the snow though.
We had a Halloween party last night which we hope becomes an annual tradition. Ryan was the tequila guy. This is a big weekend for us. Ryan was up early to go see what he could scrounge up at the Halloween store. He loves to scare the kids. I'm sure more pictures will be coming.

So it was in the 70's but here we are right back up to 90. These pictures are of the girls playing their favorite thing. They love chasing each other around with doll strollers. I don't think either one will come close to being a tomboy.
Ryan waits all year for fall. Football, Halloween, cooler weather...what could be better. We put up all the decorations last weekend. Liza is busy getting acquianted with all the monsters.
These pictures are pretty old. Liza is working on growing her hair out into a mullet now. I have no idea how she can be 18 months and still have no hair. In case there is any doubt.....Ryan is responsible for the hair-do in the above photos.
Isabel was a little nervous on her big day but she pulled through like a trooper. She looked like the tears were about to spill over when I dropped her off at her class that first day so I did what any good mother would do(and what all teachers appreciate)...turned and ran. She is all settled into her routine now and has even completed homework already. She enjoys tossing about the phrase "back when I was in preschool..."
